Bangkok Airways adds frequencies to Phuket

Bangkok Airways has increase frequency on the Bangkok-Phuket route by adding another daily service during weekends. The service started in the middle of last month and will continue indefinitely.
The additional flights (PG 273 and PG 274), will be available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays and will be operated by an Airbus 320 offering 162 seats. PG 273 will leave Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi Airport) at 1345 to arrive in Phuket at 1500 and PG 274 will leave Phuket at 1550 to arrive in Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi Airport) at 1710.
The airline recently won the title of Best Regional Airline for Asia, it was announcement from a World Airline Awards poll conducted by Skytrax. The airline has received the distinction in the category of the Best Regional Airline for five consecutive years.
The airline’s strategic positioning as Asia’s boutique airline has earned it a reputation for quality service from discerning travellers from around the world.
Captain Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, the airline’s president said, “In receiving this merit, I’m as much grateful as everyone else in the company. Amidst the fierce competition in the field of airline business, this award winning title has clearly made its own statement that the airline’s ‘Boutique’ concept has reached a commendable service level we all strive for.”
