Visit Qatar returned as presenting partner of the Qatar Goodwood Festival 2026, held from July 28 to August 1 in West Sussex, United Kingdom. The partnership followed its first edition in 2025 and continued Visit Qatar’s association with the British flat racing event.
Visit Qatar increased the prize money for the Visit Qatar Sussex Stakes, making it Europe’s most valuable one-mile flat race.
It held naming and ownership rights to six races, including the Al Shaqab Goodwood Cup, Qatar Nassau Stakes and King George Qatar Stakes. The festival also featured a Visit Qatar Pavilion showcasing Qatari culture and cuisine, along with a lounge for international partners and tourism stakeholders. The sponsorship forms part of Visit Qatar’s strategy to increase visibility in international markets and promote Qatar as a premium tourism destination.
