Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has unveiled the first images of Great Tides Waterpark at Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas, ahead of its opening on September 4, 2026. The nearly six-acre waterpark is located on NCL’s 270-acre private island and will offer attractions for families and thrill-seekers.
Highlights include The Wandering River with an immersive tunnel, The Great Slide four-person body slide, Splash Cay family zone and Tidal Tower’s duelling slides.
Cliffside Cove will feature the Caribbean’s tallest cliff jumps.
The development will also introduce new dining venues, private waterpark cabanas and adult-only spaces at Vibe Shore Club. Meanwhile, the island’s new two-berth pier is already operational, providing easier access for cruise passengers.
Day passes for Great Tides Waterpark are available for cruises visiting the island from September.
