CASA METT Sitges opens on Catalan Coast
Sunset Hospitality Group has opened CASA METT Sitges, a new five-star boutique hotel on Spain’s Catalan coast, just 100 metres from the beach and minutes from Sitges’ historic centre. Housed within five heritage-listed Noucentista villas formerly home to Hotel Capri, the property features 38 rooms, many with private terraces, combining historic architecture with contemporary Mediterranean design.
The hotel’s culinary offering includes Balera, an Italian-Mediterranean restaurant focused on seasonal produce, and a Pool Club serving as its social hub. Wellness facilities feature Valmont treatments, two treatment rooms, a sauna and a fully equipped Life Fitness gym. Combining design, gastronomy, wellness and social experiences, CASA METT Sitges aims to offer a relaxed luxury experience while reflecting the distinctive culture, architecture and Mediterranean lifestyle of Sitges, with spaces designed to encourage connection and wellbeing.
Nammos Ras El Hekma unveiled in Egypt
Modon Holding and Nammos Hotels & Resorts have announced Nammos Ras El Hekma, the lifestyle brand’s first fully integrated destination in Egypt. Located within the Wadi Yemm precinct on Egypt’s North Coast, it will feature Nammos Residences, Nammos Resort and Nammos Village. It will also include Nammos Restaurant & Beach Club, alongside dining, wellness and retail experiences.
Nammos Residences will comprise 72 apartments and a penthouse, while the resort will offer 79 hotel keys. Facilities will include a wellness and fitness centre, spa, swimming pools, cabanas, kids’ club and private dining. Inspired by Mediterranean and Cycladic design, the project forms part of the $35 billion Ras El Hekma masterplan.
Madrid’s Metrópolis reopens as luxury club-hotel
Madrid’s iconic Metrópolis building has reopened as Club Metrópolis, a private members’ club and boutique hotel created by restaurateurs Marta Seco and Sandro Silva of Grupo Paraguas. Following an extensive heritage restoration, the landmark spans more than 6,000 square metres across seven floors, combining dining, wellness, cultural programming and accommodation.
The club features seven Spanish dining concepts, including three open to the public, alongside more than 200 cultural and social experiences annually. Metrópolis Hotel offers just 19 rooms, including three signature suites, with hotel guests receiving full access to the club’s facilities and programming. Wellness amenities include personalised treatments and a Technogym-equipped fitness floor.
Hollywood Hotels & Residences launches
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is expanding into luxury hospitality through a partnership with The Scene Hotels & Resorts to launch Hollywood Hotels & Residences. The Scene Hotels & Resorts will lead development and management of the global brand, bringing Hollywood-inspired hotels and branded residences to destinations worldwide. Properties will feature premium accommodation, social spaces, culinary experiences and programming inspired by Hollywood’s entertainment legacy and local culture.
The Langham Bangkok open for December stays
The Langham, Custom House, Bangkok is now accepting reservations for stays from December 20, 2026. Located along the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok’s Bang Rak District, the 75-key property will centre around the historic Custom House, built in 1888 under King Rama V and currently undergoing restoration.
The hotel will feature 60 guestrooms and 15 suites in a contemporary building designed by Smith Obayawat.
