Saudi Arabia is reshaping the global tourism landscape at remarkable speed. Guided by Vision 2030, sustained investment across hospitality, aviation, culture, entertainment and infrastructure is strengthening the Kingdom’s position as an international destination, while Saudi travellers are becoming an increasingly influential force in global tourism.
Against this backdrop, the inaugural WTM Spotlight Riyadh will take place from 8–10 September 2026 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center (RFECC), creating a focused new platform to connect the world to Saudi Arabia and Saudi Arabia to the world.
Designed around a distinctive B2B2C model, WTM Spotlight Riyadh will bring together destinations, tourism organisations, travel suppliers, buyers, industry leaders and travellers. The event combines focused business engagement with traveller insights, enabling participants to build relationships, understand evolving market demand and identify new opportunities for commercial growth.
At the heart of WTM Spotlight Riyadh is meaningful connection. Pre-scheduled meetings, curated networking and a dedicated hosted buyer programme will provide a targeted environment for Saudi and international travel businesses to develop partnerships, while the conference programme will bring together leading voices to share insights into the trends and opportunities shaping the future of tourism.
The timing is particularly significant. Saudi Arabia welcomed nearly 123 million domestic and international visitors in 2025, generating more than SAR304 billion in tourism spending, demonstrating the scale and momentum of a sector that continues to advance the ambitions of Vision 2030.
WTM Spotlight Riyadh has been created to evolve alongside this transformation. More than a new event, it represents the beginning of a platform for collaboration, insight and opportunity – providing the global travel industry with a dedicated gateway to experience Saudi Arabia’s tourism evolution firsthand and helping Saudi businesses and travellers build stronger connections with the world.
