The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has welcomed the Egyptian Tourism Authority (ETA) as a Destination Partner, strengthening cooperation to support Egypt’s tourism sector. The partnership will focus on promoting sustainable tourism growth, increasing public-private collaboration and showcasing Egypt’s tourism offerings to travellers, investors and industry stakeholders worldwide.
Egypt’s tourism portfolio spans its ancient cultural heritage and museums alongside Red Sea resorts, luxury travel, adventure tourism, wellness, yachting and local experiences. The ETA oversees international destination marketing, develops strategic partnerships and works with the private sector to promote Egypt across global markets.
WTTC President and CEO Gloria Guevara said the organisation looks forward to working with the ETA to strengthen international collaboration and highlight opportunities for travellers, businesses and investors. The partnership will also support Egypt’s efforts to expand its international reach, attract investment, increase tourism value and strengthen its competitiveness as a leading global tourism destination.
