Minor Hotels announces medi-spa wellness concept

VLCC Wellness will be the only medi-spa retreat in the region housed in Avani+ Hua Hin Resort in Thailand

Minor Hotels has partnered with India’s leading wellness & beauty services and products brand, VLCC to launch its first therapeutic and wellness centre at Avani Spa in the upscale Avani+ Hua Hin Resort in January next year.

As Thailand prepares to fully reopen its borders to vaccinated international guests, the opening coincides with a heightened demand for wellness travel to Thailand. The kingdom is regarded as the foremost health and wellness travel destination for world-class standards of pioneering medi-spa treatments. After a year of lockdowns and restriction, guests will be able to immerse themselves in a holistic retreat, enjoying head to toe aesthetic and medical treatments during 3 to 21-night residential packages. The programmes will combine traditional techniques with modern medical diagnostic treatments along with tailored exercise and nutrition regimens to deliver all-encompassing results.

The launch of VLCC Wellness will be the only medi-spa retreat in the region establishing Avani+ Hua Hin Resort as the perfect destination to relax and recuperate before returning home revitalised. Experienced practitioners, medical specialists, dermatologists, nutritionists, physiotherapists, fitness trainers, Ayurveda specialists and cosmetologists will be on hand. A medical improvement and wellness enhancement programme will be offered as a three-night stay programmes and will focus on diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and the gut ecosystem.

The VLCC facility at AvaniSpa will also provide aesthetic treatments and IV therapy, in addition to classic pampering spa and beauty treatments for body, skin and hair.

The hotel deals a holistic approach to Covid-19 protocols, from on-site PCR and antibody testing, to immunity boosting IV therapy packages and the highest standards of cleanliness as part of Avani Hotels’ global AvaniSHIELD procedures.

The AvaniSpa provides a refreshing retreat from the world, with nine treatment rooms, couples’ journeys and a signature rhassoul ritual. Perfectly complementing the wellness ethos of VLCC, yoga, Pilates and kickboxing are all offered at AvaniFit, as well as a range of cardio machines and weight stations.

Minor Hotels to debut in Bahrain 

Minor Hotels has announced its strategic entrance into Bahrain with the upcoming debut of its Avani and Tivoli brands in 2024.

Scheduled to open in 2024, Avani Bilaj Al Jazayer Bahrain Resort and Tivoli Bilaj Al Jazayer Bahrain Resort (both 110 keys) will be part of Bilaj Al Jazayer, a new waterfront leisure mixed-use masterplan owned by Edamah, the real estate arm of Bahrain’s sovereign wealth fund, Mumtalakat. The new development will offer resorts, residential villas and apartments, food and beverage outlets, retail, offices and entertainment.

Bilaj Al Jazayer is located on the south-west coast of Bahrain and encompasses 1.3 million square metres of land with a three-kilometre beachfront. Manama, the capital and main city of Bahrain, is a 25-minute drive and Bahrain International F1 Circuit and Dilmun Waterpark are in close proximity.
