Sri Lanka will host a prestigious conference aimed at celebrating youth leadership, cultural diversity and global togetherness in July this year.
 
The 71st AIESEC International Congress will be hosted from July 6 to 14 under the strategic guidance
of Sri Lanka Convention Bureau with the participation of over 800 young leaders from more than 120
countries. 
 
The conference will comprise a series of vibrant events such as the Opening Ceremony,
Global Village, YouthSpeak Forum, World’s Largest Lesson and Sri Lankan Night.
 
AIESEC is one of the world’s largest youth-run organizations. It is independent, non-profitable,
non-political with the vision of achieving peace and fulfilment of humankind's potential. It provides
youth a platform to develop their leadership potential to impact the world by facilitating cross-cultural
exchanges for volunteer opportunities and internships abroad from over 120 countries worldwide. 
 
As an organization, it has impacted over 5000 partner organizations and is represented in
over 2,400 universities with more than 90,000 active members and over 1,000,000 alumni worldwide.
