The Lind Hotels will open The Lind Coron in 2027, expanding the homegrown Filipino hospitality brand into Palawan and returning to the destination where its story began.
More than a decade ago, Coron was the company’s first
property acquisition and the place where the concept for The Lind Hotels took
shape.
The brand later launched in Boracay, where The Lind Boracay
grew into an internationally recognised hotel and became the first property in
Boracay to be included in the MICHELIN Guide.
“We have always believed in pioneering rather than
following,” said Pierre Henrichs, Chief Operating Officer of The Lind Hotels.
“Coron offers a rare combination of natural beauty and untapped potential. Our
goal is not only to be part of its growth, but to help shape its future by
bringing a new standard of hospitality to the destination.”
Set among limestone formations, turquoise waters, hidden
lagoons and rich marine life, The Lind Coron will feature 91 rooms and villas
designed around privacy and comfort.
Private villas will include dipping pools and dedicated
Villa Hosts offering personalised service.
The resort will feature Yím, a modern Thai restaurant, and
Crust, serving Mediterranean flavours alongside locally crafted beverages, with
views across the sea.
Guests will also have access to The Spa Wellness Coron, the
country’s first spa brand to earn Superbrand status.
A dedicated dive centre will offer access to vibrant reefs
and nearby World War II shipwrecks. Event spaces will include The Gallery, The
Cove and a Roof Deck with 360-degree views.
“We aim to create a resort that belongs in its setting
rather than competes with it,” added Henrichs. “We want guests to experience
the beauty, authenticity and adventure of Coron while enjoying the hospitality
and service they have come to associate with The Lind Hotels.” -TTN
