AlUla Desert Polo, the world’s premier desert polo tournament, returned to AlUla on January 16 to 17, 2026, bringing elite polo to the dramatic sandstone canyons of Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Equestrian Village.
Part of the AlUla Moments 2025/26 calendar and organised by the Royal Commission for AlUla, the event blended sport, fashion, culture and luxury hospitality in a one-of-a-kind desert setting.
Beyond the matches, guests enjoyed gourmet dining, immersive entertainment, shaded lounges, pop-up retail, local crafts and interactive installations. A Polo Players Circle add-on offered premium access plus guided field entry, player meet-and-greets, photos and souvenirs.
The tournament, a standout annual highlight since 2020, once again attracted style-savvy travellers and premium sports tourism audiences.
