Visit Oman announced a series of strategic agreements with
leading global travel platforms — TUI Musement, Klook, and Bókun, a Tripadvisor
company — reinforcing its commitment to digital transformation and global
connectivity.

In addition to these strategic signings, Visit Oman hosted a
high-level executive roundtable in collaboration with the Global Travel and
Tourism Resilience Council, titled “Exploring Technology and Alternative
Distribution Methodologies.” The session featured prominent travel tech leaders
from Amadeus, Sojern, VOX Group, Chain4Travel, Hopper, Wheresright, Trip.com
Group, UnderTheDoormat, and Agoda, discussing innovative approaches to
distribution and resilience in the travel sector.
Visit Oman further demonstrated its thought leadership
during the panel session, titled “The New Travel Powerhouses: How Global
Geopolitical Shifts are Redrawing Tourism Flows and Demand.” Opening the
session, Visit Oman’s Managing Director, Shabib bin Mohamed Al Maamari, highlighted
Oman’s strategic position at the forefront of Middle East travel growth.
Renowned for its safety, security, and rich cultural heritage, Oman is
increasingly attracting new demand and reshaping global travel flows. His
remarks set the tone for a compelling discussion on how destinations like Oman
