Atlantis Atlas Project Contribution Programme ...inspiring the next generation

Atlantis Dubai has selected seven local and international conservation and sustainability projects to receive funding from the Atlantis Atlas Project Contribution Programme 2025–26. From June 2024 to May 2025, every green meeting and marine animal experience contributed to a total fund of $123,000, supporting initiatives that protect oceans and the environment.

Since its launch in 2021, the programme has raised over $509,000, funding 30 projects worldwide. Applications were assessed by the Atlantis Dubai Conservation & Science Committee based on scientific value, conservation impact, and sustainability. The programme focuses on sharks, rays, dolphins, coral reefs, and marine pollution.

A new collaboration with the Mohammed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund will empower UAE youth under 18 with funding, mentorship, and hands-on conservation experience. The initiative will engage schools and local communities to inspire the next generation of environmental leaders.

Returning project partners include the UAE Dolphin Project by Zayed University; Goumbook, IUCN SSC Shark Specialist Group, SAFE Shark and Ray, Whale and Dolphin Protection Team (EVF Kuwait) and Marine Megafauna Foundation – Oman Whale Shark Project.
