Hilton to debut Waldorf Astoria in Oman
Hilton has signed an agreement with the Zubair Corporation to open three hotels in Muscat under the Waldorf Astoria, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, and DoubleTree by Hilton brands. The milestone marks the debut of Waldorf Astoria in Oman and will double Hilton’s presence in the Sultanate, reinforcing its commitment to Vision 2040 and the country’s growing tourism sector.
Set within the iconic Barr Al Jissah waterfront development, the trio will open in January 2026. Highlights include the reimagined Waldorf Astoria Muscat Al Husn, featuring 180 rooms, five dining venues, a signature spa, and private beach access; Hilton Muscat Al Bandar, with 198 rooms, six restaurants, and extensive event facilities; and DoubleTree by Hilton Muscat Al Waha, offering 302 family-friendly rooms and four dining concepts.
Collectively, the properties will deliver 15 dining venues, 600 metres of private beach, six pools, tennis courts, a lazy river, and a dive centre, positioning Barr Al Jissah as a world-class destination blending natural beauty, cultural heritage, and global hospitality excellence.
