Hyatt Hotels Corporation celebrated the opening of Parian Chronicle Hotel Paros, a 50-room contemporary Cycladic retreat on the island of Paros, Greece, managed by SWOT Hospitality.

The hotel blends the cultural heritage of the island with upscale leisure offerings and private outdoor space. This marks the Destination by Hyatt brand's second property in Greece and its first property on a Greek island, a milestone in the brand's growing footprint, now spanning 25 hotels and resorts in nearly 10 countries globally.

The opening represents a meaningful step for the brand in an increasingly attractive European market, where in 2025 Greece's inbound tourism reached an all-time high, attracting 37.98 million visitors.

With a name inspired by the ancient marble inscription discovered on Paros that recorded moments of Greek history and mythology, the hotel invites guests to experience the island not as visitors, but as participants in an unfolding story. Located in the picturesque village of Kampos, just minutes from the airport and Parikia Port. Parian Chronicle offers a tranquil base to explore the very best of the island.  Paros is brimming with local producers, hidden beaches and traditional Parian villages, all bordered by the shimmering coastline and captured by the slow-paced rhythm of everyday life.

Parian Chronicle Hotel Paros features 50 newly built guestrooms and suites, offering ultimate serenity and relaxation for guests ages 13 and above. Thoughtfully positioned throughout the property to maximize privacy, 39 rooms boast private pools, while the remaining selection all offer outdoor jacuzzis, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience that emanates a home away from home. Ranging from 30 to 42 square-meters, guestrooms and suites feature spacious terraces or patios, shimmering sea views, and a calming coastal ambiance.

The interiors reimagine traditional Greek architecture through clean lines, whitewashed forms and natural materials, including stone, wood and linen. Drawing on the natural environment of Paros, its marble, landscape and ever-present light, architect and interior designer Makridis Associates has grounded the visual language of the hotel in the island itself. A palette of soft neutrals and warm earth tones are inspired by Paros marble and the textures of the island.

"Parian Chronicle Hotel Paros has been carefully curated to channel the legacy of the Ancient Parian Chronicles, whose famous marble inscriptions have been reinterpreted for the culturally curious traveler,” said Manuel Melenchón, Managing Director, EAME South. “For an elevated experience rooted in place and purpose, we invite each guest to unwind through the refined comfort of private pools and hot tubs, local cuisine, and genuine connections that a Destination by Hyatt hotel offers. We are delighted to mark the brand's first opening on a Greek island, a significant milestone in our continued growth across Southern Europe.”  - TradeArabia News Service
