The facilities comprise 12 treatment rooms that have been divided into male and female sections, and include relaxation areas, steam baths and spa suites. Unusual in Kuwait is their “dry flotation” and various Ayurveda treatments, performed by highly qualified therapists.
The “spa menu” contains over 40 different massages and body treatments including facials, and a variety of treatment packages. The designof the spa was inspired by Far Eastern practices and philosophies. The hotel is located in a prime position in Kuwait’s Salmiya district, lying about a 15 minute drive from Kuwait International Airport and Kuwait city, and overlooks the sea.
The five star resort is spread over an area of about 40,000 square metre, and is designed in contemporary style, offering an elegant ambience combined with high quality service. There are 306 modern standard and deluxe rooms and various types of suites. The guest accommodations also include 14 villas for up to eight people. Standard rooms and executive suites with a pool view are especially equipped for long staying guests and family weekends, with access to the 200 m long private white sandy beach.
Dining options here include the hotel restaurant serving international and oriental cuisine, buffet style and an a la carte menu. The Beldani Mediterranean Restaurant offers a wide variety of fresh sea foods and delicatessen, and the Veranda Lobby Lounge offers snacks and beverages.
All culinary outlets of Movenpick Hotel & Resort Al Bida’a offer frequent food and beverage promotions.
