With 20 parks, attractions and destinations across Dubai, Dubai Holding Entertainment brings together a diverse collection of leisure experiences. It has a growing portfolio, which continues to evolve with new attractions, leisure activities and accommodation experiences across Dubai, spanning theme parks, cultural attractions, family entertainment, nature, cinema and live performances, catering to international travellers and residents alike.

Among its best-known destinations is Global Village, which has grown into one of Dubai's most popular attractions. Since opening its gates in 1997, Global Village has welcomed over 100 million guests and continues to draw guests with a distinctive combination of international cultures, shopping, dining and entertainment.

Global Village: A More Wonderful World

For three decades, Global Village has brought people and cultures together in a setting that has become a firm fixture of Dubai's entertainment calendar. Its appeal lies in the opportunity to discover traditions, products, food and entertainment from across the world in one destination.

Season 31, running until May 2027 under the theme A More Wonderful World, builds on this success with new attractions, cultural experiences and live entertainment alongside established favourites.

With 29 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, guests can discover traditional crafts, regional products, clothing, accessories and speciality foods. Cultural discovery remains central to the experience. Season 31 introduces refreshed offerings at the ‘Sri Lanka Pavilion’ and the ‘Russia and Azerbaijan Pavilion’, alongside renewed façades at the Syria and Kuwait pavilions.

With more than 3,500 shopping outlets, Global Village offers a lively alternative to conventional retail experiences, bringing together traders and products from different parts of the world. Guests can browse familiar favourites, discover products they may not encounter elsewhere and experience a variety of cultures during a single evening. For international travellers, this diversity provides an opportunity to explore a different side of Dubai, one that reflects the city's multicultural population and longstanding connections with communities around the world.

An added element of exploration comes through the redesigned Season 31 Passport and the new Kids Passport. Guests can collect stamps as they explore the pavilions, giving families an interactive way to navigate the destination and children a tangible memento of their journey.

Food is an essential part of discovering a culture, and Global Village places dining at the centre of the experience. More than 250 dining options offer an extensive choice of international cuisines, from regional street food and traditional dishes to restaurants and cafés. The destination's food streets and dining areas have become attractions in their own right, encouraging guests to sample different flavours as they explore the destination. A single evening can involve sampling different cuisines, sharing dishes with friends, stopping for a coffee and finishing with dessert.

Entertainment remains one of Global Village's defining features. A programme of 40,000 shows throughout the season brings together music, dance, acrobatics, theatrical productions and performances from different cultures. From large-scale productions to street entertainment, the programme caters to families and guests of all ages.

This season introduces Fast Live 2: The Police Strike Back, an action-packed stunt show, alongside new anchor shows including Bollywood Idol and Bank Heist. Returning favourites such as Slam and London Calling add to the programme, while younger guests can enjoy performances featuring beloved characters at the Kids Theatre.

Beyond the live shows, more than 200 attractions offer further entertainment for families, children and thrill-seekers. Carnaval®, the dedicated fun fair area at Global Village, remains a popular part of the destination, with its collection of rides and games. Other highlight attractions include Little Wonderers, which is designed especially for kids, giving little ones a space to explore, imagine and play, while The Dragon Kingdom is an immersive walk-through experience that takes guests into a world of legend and fantasy. Secrets of the Lost City is an interactive adventure where guests uncover clues and discover hidden surprises along the way, and for those who dare, The Horror Hotel, the biggest haunted house in the region, offers a truly thrilling experience. Later in the season, Tokyo Rush will make its debut, introducing a new roller coaster experience featuring sharp turns, high-speed action and a thrilling loop.

For those looking for a slower pace, the refreshed Gardens of the World provides a setting for leisurely walks and family photographs. This mix of high-energy attractions, live shows and quieter spaces allows guests to shape their own experience, moving between entertainment, dining, shopping and cultural exploration at their own pace.

Considerable attention has also been given to making visits more convenient. Enhancements to parking, directional signage and ticketing facilities aim to improve access and navigation, while additional family washrooms, including accessible facilities for People of Determination, cater to the needs of a broad audience.

Global Village's enduring appeal is rooted in something beyond the number of attractions or the scale of its entertainment programme. Global Village has become a tradition for families and friends, creating a place where people can reconnect with their own heritage, encounter other cultures and spend quality time together.

With entry tickets starting at just AED25, Global Village offers an accessible starting point for a broad range of experiences. Global Village's evening operating hours are particularly convenient for tourists, allowing a visit to be combined with daytime sightseeing or other attractions. Open from 4pm until midnight from Sunday to Wednesday, and until 1am from Thursday to Saturday and on public holidays, it offers flexibility for travellers planning their stay. Tuesdays are reserved for families and ladies, except on public holidays. Tickets are available through the Global Village website, mobile app and ticket counters at the gates.

For the international travel trade, Global Village brings together shopping, dining, cultural discovery and entertainment in one setting, making it suitable for families, couples and groups with different interests. Its continued popularity and regularly refreshed offering have made it an established part of Dubai's tourism landscape.
