Norwegian Encore, a Breakaway Plus-class cruise ship

This October, Norwegian Cruise Line will launch the Norwegian Encore, a 169,000 gross tonne vessel with the biggest race track at sea and largest open-air laser tag course on a cruise ship. Several encore-worthy performances, such as the Broadway hit Kinky Boots, along with The Choir of Man, and Happy Hour Prohibition: The Musical will also be on board.

Accommodating up to 4,000 guests, Norwegian Encore will cruise out of Miami every Sunday and offer seven-day cruises to the Eastern Caribbean, beginning with her first itinerary on November 17, 2019, through April 12, 2020. She’ll begin cruising to Bermuda out of New York in the Summer of 2020.

“2019 is an exciting year for us. We will launch Norwegian Encore in October and some of TTN’s readers will be invited to experience the vessel on a two-night cruise from Bremerhaven to South Hampton,” Nick Wilkinson, newly named regional vice-president of business development for Norwegian Cruise Line told TTN in one of our older interactions. Wilkinson now reports to Eamonn Ferrin, newly appointed as vice-president & managing director for UK, Ireland, Israel, South Africa and the Middle East markets.

While 2019 will be a landmark year for the cruise line with the launch of the Norwegian Encore, it is also a great year for agents to start working on Norwegian cruises that will take place later this year and in 2020. Two NCL ships, Norwegian Jade and Norwegian Spirit, will be coming into the Middle East in late 2019.

The recently refurbished Norwegian Jade will be doing a sailing of a lifetime in 2020 calling at: Piraeus, Kusadasi, Rhodes, Limassol, Haifa, Port Said, Suez Canal, Safaga, Aqaba, Salalah, Fujairah and Abu Dhabi before disembarkation in Dubai.

In December 2019, she will cruise from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, Khasab, Fujairah, Mormugao Goa, Make, Colombo Phuket, Langkawi, Penang, Port Klang before disembarking in Singapore.

In 2020, the Norwegian Spirit will be sailing the following itinerary: Abu Dhabi, Fujairah and Muscat before heading to Mahe, Nosy Be/Nosy Komba, Port Louis, Port Des Galets, Richard’s Bay, Port Elizabeth and Mossel Bay before disembarking in Cape Town.

Norwegian Cruise Line has a dedicated campaign, which resonates most with the market. Free at Sea offers guests the choice to tailor their cruise the way they want with optional free extras such as wi-fi, speciality dining, shore excursions and third or fourth guest free. Enjoy up to five free offers when you book with Norwegian Cruise Line. Studio and Inside cabins get to choose one free offer. Oceanview, Balcony and Mini-Suites choose three free offers. The Haven and Suites get all five free offers.
