Knowledge Economic City plans $400m hospitality project fund with Albilad

Saudi Arabia's Knowledge Economic City has announced that it had signed a non-binding term sheet with Albilad Capital for the establishment of a closed-ended private real estate investment fund worth SAR1.5 billion ($400 million), to finance the first phase of its Multaqa Hospitality project in Madinah.

AHS Properties buys Shangri-La Hotel Dubai for $300m

UAE-based AHS Properties has announced that it has entered into a deal with Mismak Asset Management to acquire the 43-floor Shangri-La Hotel in Dubai for AED1.1 billion ($300 million) in one of the largest single-asset real estate transactions recorded in recent history.
