Wynn Al Marjan Island has unveiled details of its wedding and celebrations offering, positioning the upcoming UAE destination resort as a venue for multi-day weddings, with dedicated event facilities, dining experiences and accommodation for guests ahead of its expected opening in late 2027.
The resort, located in
Ras Al Khaimah, will allow couples to host different stages of their
celebrations across a range of indoor and outdoor venues, bringing family and
friends together within one destination.
At the centre of the
offering is Coral Court, the resort’s dedicated Events & Celebrations
Center, supported by 22 restaurants, bars and lounges, Wynn Theater, Wynn Beach
Club, a five-star spa, 12 swimming pools, a 550-metre private beach and Wynn Marina.
The property will
feature 1,540 rooms and suites, allowing wedding parties to stay and celebrate
at the resort. It is located approximately 75 kilometres from Dubai
International Airport.
Coral Court will
feature a column-free Grand Ballroom overlooking the marina, with indoor event
spaces accommodating up to 1,260 guests for banquet-style receptions. Outdoor
facilities include four event terraces and an Event Lawn, which can host up to
620 guests for a banquet-style celebration.
The venues are
designed to accommodate different wedding occasions, from ceremonies and family
gatherings to receptions and larger celebrations.
Max Tappeiner,
President of Wynn Al Marjan Island, said, “Today's weddings are rarely a single
event. They unfold across several days, with ceremonies, dinners, and
celebrations that each call for their own setting. At Wynn Al Marjan Island, we
can host every one of those occasions within one resort, with our teams working
together so the experience feels effortless for the couple, their families, and
their guests. That combination of imagination and service is what makes a
wedding at Wynn distinctly unique to each couple.”
Dedicated wedding
preparation facilities
The resort will also
introduce separate Bridal and Groom’s Suites within Coral Court, each measuring
approximately 150 square metres and designed to provide private preparation
spaces ahead of ceremonies.
The Bridal Suite will
feature vanities, large mirrors and specialised studio lighting for hair,
makeup and photography, while the Groom’s Suite will include a cigar lounge,
bar, grooming facilities and a dedicated resort attendant.
Tappeiner said,
“Preparation is an important part of any wedding day, and we have planned for
it with the same care as the celebration itself. The Bridal and Groom's Suites
give each wedding party their own space and privacy, with a dedicated team
handling the details, so couples and their families arrive at the ceremony
relaxed and ready.”
Tailored dining and
GCC wedding traditions
Culinary services will
form a central part of the offering, with a team of 90 chefs and service staff,
including specialists in Indian, Arabic, Chinese and Western cuisines.
Dedicated culinary, banquet, audiovisual, production and floristry teams will
work together to tailor celebrations to individual requirements.
The resort is also
targeting couples across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), offering access
from major regional cities, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi within driving distance.
Its wedding
arrangements will include controlled arrivals, private preparation facilities
and female team members available to support brides and their guests upon
request. Coral Court will be reserved exclusively for each couple's
celebration, while gender-separated events and dedicated prayer rooms for men
and women can also be arranged.
Arabic chefs will
prepare customised menus reflecting local traditions and individual
preferences.
The wedding experience
will extend to bespoke cakes designed by Aizhan Tazhigulova, Wynn Al Marjan
Island’s Executive Pastry Chef and Cake Artist. Each creation will be developed
through personal consultations and designed exclusively for the couple, with
cakes reaching up to 15 tiers.
The resort said the offering is designed to combine destination wedding experiences with personalised services, cultural considerations and facilities that allow celebrations to take place across several days without guests needing to leave the property. -TradeArabia News Service
