Jazeera Airways has delayed the resumption of transfer and transit passenger services through Terminal 5 (T5) at Kuwait International Airport until further notice, following a request from the Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) to postpone the restart of such operations.
The airline apologised to passengers whose travel plans may
be affected, saying eligible customers can request a full refund or change
their travel date at no additional cost.
Jazeera Airways said airlines operating through major
aviation hubs across the Gulf and wider region have progressively resumed
transfer and transit services since March 2026.
It said restoring such connectivity through Kuwait would
provide passengers with greater travel options, support the markets it serves
and strengthen Kuwait’s regional and international air connectivity.
The airline said it recognises that resuming transfer and
transit operations requires coordination and operational readiness from the
KCAA.
Jazeera Airways added that it will continue working closely
with the authority to support preparations for the eventual restart of services
through T5.
The carrier reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Kuwait’s
aviation sector and expanding connectivity.

details on the resumption of transfer and transit services will be announced in
