The inaugural Royal Bahrain Concours has announced Gulf Air as its Official Airline Partner.
It will be held under the patronage of Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown
Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain.
The partnership brings
together two of Bahrain's most prestigious ambassadors for luxury, excellence,
and international distinction.
Gulf Air, founded in
1950, brings over seven decades of aviation excellence to the Royal Bahrain
Concours.
As the national
carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain and title sponsor of the Formula 1 Gulf Air
Bahrain Grand Prix since 2004 - the longest-running title partnership in
Formula 1 - Gulf Air shares the Concours' commitment to showcasing Bahrain as a
premier destination for world-class events.
"We are honored
to welcome Gulf Air as our Official Airline Partner," said James
Brooks-Ward, Chairman of the Royal Bahrain Concours. "Their unparalleled
expertise in connecting Bahrain to the world, combined with their legendary
commitment to hospitality and excellence, makes them the perfect partner to
help bring automotive enthusiasts and collectors from across the globe to this
landmark event."
Among the exceptional
collector cars on display will be automotive legends including the ultra-rare
1996 Koenigsegg CC prototype XP 001 - the very first Koenigsegg ever built -
and the American Classics class featuring the one-of-a-kind 1955 Lincoln Indianapolis
by Carrozzeria Boano Torino.
Supported by the
Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), the Royal Bahrain Concours
underscores Bahrain's growing reputation as a hub of culture, luxury, and
international distinction.
Already home to the
Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix and a rich tapestry of cultural
landmarks, the Kingdom is increasingly recognized as a destination where
tradition meets modernity.
The two-day programme
includes The Prestige Day on Friday, 7 November, featuring presentation of the
leading cars on the Concours stage, followed by Awards Day on Saturday, 8
November, when all class winners and best of show will be awarded.
The Royal Bahrain Concours will feature 90 of the world's most exceptional collector cars alongside 300 additional vehicles from GCC-based car clubs, positioning the Kingdom as a distinguished destination on the global concours calendar. -TradeArabia News Service
