Qatar Tourism has been nominated for Qatar Government Excellence Award (GEA), an initiative led by the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau (CGB) to recognise and reward outstanding public-sector performance.
The
award supports government entities in enhancing their service quality,
operational efficiency, and innovation across all levels of governance.
The
official opening of the Qatar Government Excellence Award assessment took place
on October 21, attended by Saad Al Kharji, Chairman of Qatar Tourism.
This
marked the start of a two-day evaluation, conducted from October 21–22, under
the guidance of the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau.
The assessment measures participating
government entities against four key pillars: leadership and strategy, value
creation, institutional resources, and impact.
Qatar
Tourism’s nomination reflects its ongoing commitment to operational excellence,
innovation, and alignment with the Qatar National Vision 2030.
The organisation continues to strengthen its
internal governance, improve efficiency, and elevate service delivery, mirroring
the high standards of excellence it strives to offer visitors to Qatar.
The
Qatar Government Excellence Award seeks to advance the quality of government
performance and foster a culture of excellence across public institutions. -TradeArabia News Service
