The King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority announced the launch of its first integrated ecotourism season, Tawqi Season, running from October 2025 to April 2026.

The launch, announced during a creative ceremony in the Tawqi area, reflects the authority's commitment to strengthening the reserve as a leading national destination for sustainable tourism and supporting Vision 2030 goals for environmental sustainability and quality of life, reported SPA.
The season now welcomes visitors from both inside and outside the Kingdom, offering a wide range of activities such as paragliding, horseback riding, camel riding, and cycling.

It also provides opportunities for relaxation and meditation under clear skies, heritage trips, birdwatching, and nature photography.

Authority CEO Maher Al-Gothmi expressed pride in the launch, describing it as a qualitative shift that embodies the authority's vision to balance protecting natural ecosystems with providing unique tourism experiences, aiming to raise environmental awareness and conserve the reserve's rich biodiversity for future generations.
