Whether you’re seeking inspiration, connection, or a physical challenge, here are the top experiences you shouldn’t miss during the 2025 AlUla Wellness Festival.

LES MILLS: ICONIC FITNESS

Global fitness phenomenon Les Mills makes its debut at the festival with a series of premium, instructor-led classes staged at AlUla’s most spectacular locations. Expect signature sessions like BODYCOMBAT, BODYPUMP, BODYBALANCE, RPM, AND GRIT, adapted to suit various fitness levels.

Classes run throughout the AlUla Wellness Festival from 24 October to 1 November, with sessions held at many iconic landmarks, including Elephant Rock, Hegra, Old Town Amphitheatre, Harrat Viewpoint, Heart of the Oasis, and Maraya – the world’s largest all-mirrored building.

Packages include single-class tickets (from SAR 150), five-class passes (SAR 638) and ten-class passes (SAR 1,125), with a shuttle bus service operating from Winter Park to all venues. Selected sessions are also ladies-only.

YOGA PROGRAMME

Returning from 24 October to November 1, the Yoga Programme remains one of the most anticipated elements of the AlUla Wellness Festival, with an expanded 80 sessions designed to connect movement, breath and nature. Sessions will take place across five of AlUla’s most beautiful resorts and locations: Banyan Tree AlUla, Our Habitas AlUla, Shaden Resort, Five Senses Sanctuary, and AlManshiyah Plaza.

Participants can explore a variety of yoga styles and wellness practices, including Classical Yoga, Soul Flow Vinyasa, Pranayama, Art Therapy, Meditation, Breathwork, and much more. Morning sessions focus on energising flows, while afternoons and evenings emphasise restorative movement, guided stillness, and meditative sounds.

Classes run daily between 8.30am and 7pm, with single-session, five-class, and ten-class passes available to purchase.

TEAM JAYCO ALULA CYCLING CAMP – RIDE WITH THE PROS

Cycling enthusiasts have a rare opportunity to train, ride, and engage with world-class professionals in the Team Jayco AlUla Cycling Camp. Taking place 29 and 30 October, participants will join two 90km guided rides through AlUla’s remarkable terrain and along the region’s dedicated cycle zones, led by Team Jayco AlUla pro riders.

Both days also include masterclasses and workshops led by expert staff on topics such as race tactics, strategy, and preparation; nutrition, training, and recovery; bike mechanics and maintenance; and mobility and physiotherapy.

The camp is limited to 25 participants to maintain an intimate, high-impact experience, with spots priced at SAR 2,500 per person (advanced booking is required).

ENDURANCE EVENTS – ALULA HALF MARATHON AND 24 HOUR ENDURANCE RACE

The AlUla Wellness Festival is offering runners of all levels the opportunity to test their endurance with two special races: the AlUla Half Marathon and 24 Hour Endurance Race.

The AlUla Half Marathon on 25 October invites participants to choose from five different distances, ranging from the child- and family-friendly 1.5km up to the full 21.1km race, making it accessible to both serious runners and casual participants.

The course weaves through AlUla’s iconic landscapes and historic sites, with the race-day atmosphere enhanced by a lively race village, music, and entertainment for runners and spectators alike.

For athletes seeking the ultimate test of stamina, the 24 Hour Endurance Race, from 31 October to 1 November, pushes athletes to cover as many laps as possible on an 8km loop at the Al Mugharya Camel Track over a full 24-hour period. Registrants may enter solo or in teams of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12.

There is the option to camp onsite in a glamping village, where tents with mattresses, lighting, power outlets, and basic amenities are available. Visitors can also bring their own tent.

MULTI-DISCIPLINE SPORTS EVENTS – ASHAR VALLEY TRI AND ALULA DUATHLON

The AlUla Wellness Festival’s multi-discipline events invite participants to push their limits in spectacular surroundings, taking on running, cycling, rowing, and swimming across two standout races: the Ashar Valley Tri and AlUla Duathlon.

Taking place on 1 November, the Ashar Valley Tri comprises a 3,000m static row, a 3000m bike ride, and a 300m swim. Hosted at Our Habitas AlUla, the event runs in waves of 30 athletes every 30 minutes.

The AlUla Duathlon, held a week earlier on 24 October, kicks off the endurance season with an exhilarating run-bike-run race beginning at Winter Park. The event offers three categories: Olympic (18+ years), Sprint ( (16+), and Kids Super Sprint (5-16), ensuring a race for all ages and fitness levels.

Whether you’re competing for a personal best or simply looking to soak up the atmosphere, these multi-discipline events showcase AlUla’s growing reputation as a global hub for sport and outdoor adventure.

ANNABEL’S AT ALULA

After a full day of movement, mindfulness and wellbeing experiences, guests can unwind in style at Annabel’s at AlUla. Located beneath the stars and framed by palm-fringed farm vistas, this renowned open-air dining destination brings a touch of global glamour to the desert.

Guests can indulge in two distinctive menus; a signature selection and a wellness-inspired offering that complements the AlUla Wellness Festival. Signature dishes such as the Paccheri Pasta, Wild Sea Bass with Kalamata olives and Grilled Lamb Chops celebrate the spirit of the original Annabel’s in Mayfair, while drawing inspiration from the flavours of the region.

Dining at Annabel’s is made even more special by its unique setting within Jabal Ikmah – one of AlUla’s most remarkable heritage sites and often referred to as an ‘open-air library’ due to the inscriptions and petroglyphs left by ancient civilisations. -TradeArabia News Service
