Kuwait Airways organised its first training course on artificial intelligence. The course focused on fields related to public relations, marketing, and social media.
Abdulmohsen Al-Fagaan,
Kuwait Airways Chairman, stated: “This training course is the first of its kind
on artificial intelligence organised by the Training Department at Kuwait
Airways. This course will be expanded in the future to include other specialisations
that will play a vital role in developing and improving employee performance,
enhancing their professional and intellectual capabilities, and fostering new horizons
for innovation and creativity, all of which will positively impact the
company’s overall performance.”
Al-Fagaan added that
the course included the use of well-known applications and programs such as
ChatGPT, Microsoft 365 Copilot, DeepSeek, and other modern technologies
designed to support employees in finding effective solutions for their daily
tasks, as well as in organising advertising and media campaigns, among other
functions. He emphasised that using these programs effectively requires
intensive practice and training to achieve optimal results, whether in
conducting research, generating analyses, or monitoring the company’s
performance across social media platforms.
Al-Fagaan stated that
the objective of this course is to enhance employee efficiency and performance
in line with the technological advancements in artificial intelligence,
particularly within the air transport sector. He explained that Kuwait Airways
continues to focus on educating and equipping its employees in an optimal
manner that aligns with the scale and pace of development in the region.
Al-Fagaan said that
this initiative is part of Kuwait Airways’ comprehensive digital transformation
strategy, which aims to enhance the company’s technological infrastructure and
integrate artificial intelligence tools into various operational and administrative
functions. This integration, he explained, will help accelerating procedures
and enhance decision-making accuracy through data-driven insights and smart
analysis. He pointed out that Kuwait Airways, in line with its strong
commitment to investing in the human element, strives to create a work
environment that encourages innovation and enhances employees’ capabilities
with the skills needed to navigate future technologies. This approach supports
the establishment of a culture of continuous learning within the company in
general.
Al-Fagaan concluded by emphasising Kuwait Airways’ commitment to staying at the forefront of the latest developments in the aviation industry, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence and its wide-ranging applications. He noted that the national carrier consistently prioritises the development of the company’s internal work system, whether through the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and or by training employees to achieve its desired goals. -TradeArabia News Service
