Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Caption by Hyatt Central Sydney, the brand's first location in Australia and the Pacific.
Situated in Haymarket,
the 174-room hotel combines community-focused hospitality, tech convenience,
and local design, creating a vibrant space for travellers and locals.
“Caption by Hyatt
Central Sydney will introduce a fresh approach to travel. It is all about being
a place where our guests are empowered to create their own experiences, and can
connect, explore, and stay on their own terms,” said Temara Exton, general manager,
Caption by Hyatt Central Sydney.
The hotel features
Talk Shop, an all-day social hub that serves as a café, and co-working space,
hosting events like poetry nights and live music.
Under Chef Yammi
Cheung, the menu reflects Sydney’s multicultural scene with dishes like the
Double-Down Burger and Mee So Salmon Bowl, accompanied by house-made iced teas.
Incorporating local
art, the hotel showcases works by Chris Yee, Samy Baby, and Hiromi Tango,
enhancing its connection to Haymarket.
The design includes
174 creatively styled rooms, each with local artwork, and emphasises
sustainability through energy-efficient practices and locally sourced food. -TradeArabia News Service
