PROJECT DETAILS

UAE’s Majid Al Futtaim Properties (MAF) is carrying out pre-feasibility studies on The Mall of Oman, a project that will define the growing Bausher district in Muscat. Upon completion, the mall will set high standards for the emerging retail and entertainment sectors in Oman.

Owned by the Muscat Municipality, the mall will be built on 157,000 sq m of land and will offer an exceptional shopping experience for all ages, encompassing 350 stores, in addition to various leisure components. Anchor tenants at the Mall of Oman will include Carrefour, VOX Cinemas, Magic Planet and restaurants in addition to several other brands, set to make their first entry into Oman via the Mall of Oman

Set to be Oman’s biggest mall, the new shopping and entertainment destination is expected to generate 1,500 jobs for its construction and a further 3,500 jobs once open to the public. It will also enhance the Sultanate’s retail and entertainment offering for both residents and tourists.

Construction of Oman’s biggest mall upon a land area of 157,000 sq m which will include branded and regular retail outlets, high-end restaurants, Carrefour, VOX cinemas, Magic Planet and other associated facilities.
