ESTALISHED in 2007, the Abraj Al Salam Group aimed to boost the tourism scene in Bahrain by establishing the Al Arez Hotel Services Company, which has just opened its first boutique hotel - L’Hotel.
The new hotel is near the shopping and financial district and offers 90 rooms and suite, plus the five star French restaurants L’Avenue and Relais De Venise L’Entrecote.
Ralph Yazbek, general manager for Al Arez Hotel Services Company said, “At a time when the Bahrain hospitality industry is booming, we realised the need for a boutique hotel here, something that was unique and have been successful in markets like Europe for several years.”
This year the hotel will complete renovations of the spa. “The hotel since its opening has seen about 50 per cent occupancies and the forecast for the year ahead looks very positive. We expect by the end of the year to gain a fair market share especially with our location,” he added.
The company has plans to take the L’Hotel brand across the region and plans to open next property in Lebanon in 2011 and in Abu Dhabi in 2012.
For summer, the hotel has planned special three day packages including spa treatments starting from $1,061.
