A fresh new look for the rooms at the Sheraton Dammam

THE Sheraton Dammam Hotel & Towers has completed a major 100-million-riyal renovation and refurbishment programme that has focused on all areas of the hotel including the guest rooms and suites, the restaurants and cafés and the public meeting areas.

Perhaps one of the most important new features of this hotel, located in the heart of Dammam’s business and shopping district, is the opening of an exclusive ladies-only rooftop business club, thought to be the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia. Equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual and electronic facilities and technology, this chic 150-sqm business suite enables professional women and entrepreneurs to work and meet in privacy. The Sheraton Dammam also has a private ladies’ lounge for business meetings, charity functions or social get-togethers.
Men are also well looked after at the hotel, with a modern, high-tech business centre with meeting rooms, lobbies and an exclusive Tower Lounge for members.
The hotel has four themed restaurants offering Chinese, Japanese, Italian and Lebanese food, plus the stylish Vienna Café, located throughout the hotel.
The Sheraton Dammam Hotel and Towers first opened in 1980 and has now been creatively transformed to offer supreme international comfort in contemporary style. Owned by the Dammam Hotels Company, this luxurious venue is managed by the US-based Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. There are 285 guestrooms, one royal suite, two presidential suites, 10 executive suites and 30 junior suites located within four executive business floors and seven classic floors to comfortably accommodate all manner of corporate and leisure guests.
The hotel has a banqueting hall, also newly refurbished in classic style, which can accommodate 600 guests and be divided into three halls if so required.  For bigger events, an additional hall is under construction with the capacity for a further 2000 people. The hotel’s outside catering division can serve 4000 people with top class international cuisine.
To ease guests’ weary limbs at the end of a long hard day, the Sheraton’s new Wellness Centre and Spa, with separate facilities for men and women, offers an extensive range of luxurious health and beauty treatments and relaxing regimes.
The renovation work continues outside too, with gardens, swimming pool and play areas all landscaped and modernised to provide a fresh, green setting in close proximity to the clear, blue waters of the Arabian Gulf. For overseas visitors or Saudi residents, the Sheraton Dammam Hotel and Towers is a place to visit.
