The Saudi Event Show (SES), one of the Kingdom’s largest gatherings for the events and MICE industry, will return to Riyadh on September 17–18 at The Arena.
This year’s edition promises to be bigger than ever, with 5,000+ industry professionals, 100+ exhibitors and suppliers, and 30+ free-to-attend seminars led by global experts.
The Saudi Event Show 2025, centered on Vision 2030's objective of building a thriving society, will highlight the ongoing expansion of Saudi Arabia's live events and entertainment industry, showcasing the latest innovations from technology suppliers and live event organisers.
Several seminar sessions and panels will explore and expand on insights of the Kingdom's evolving events industry. Keynotes include "From Dubai to Osaka: How Saudi Arabia is Learning from World Expo Success Stories," which examines the use of global best practices to enhance future giga-projects.
Panel discussions will focus on topics such as “Creative Economies and Cultural Diplomacy: Vision 2030’s Event-Driven Soft Power Strategy” exploring how events serve as a tool for national branding, while “Inside the Royal Investment Engine: How Giga Projects are Reshaping the Global Events Map” will examine the scale and ambition of projects transforming Saudi into a world leader in entertainment and live events.
Amar Daginawala, Exhibition Director of the Saudi Event Show, said: “The Saudi Event Show has become the definitive meeting place for the Kingdom’s events community. This year’s edition not only showcases innovation and expertise but also celebrates the people and organisations driving excellence through the launch of the Saudi Event Awards. Together, we are building the foundation of a globally competitive entertainment ecosystem.”
The show will end with the first edition of the Saudi Event Awards on 18 September 2025 at the JW Marriott Hotel, Riyadh, honouring the most impactful individuals, teams, and companies shaping Saudi Arabia’s events industry. Award categories include recognition across event production, sustainability, brand experience, marketing, technology, and leadership, judged by an independent panel of senior event leaders and industry pioneers.
By establishing benchmarks for quality and innovation, the Awards will celebrate the achievements of professionals and organisations in the Kingdom, setting the stage for future growth to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s position as a global hub for live entertainment and events. -TradeArabia News Service
