Located in the vibrant heart of Bahrain’s capital, Manama, the Sheraton Bahrain Hotel has undergone a radical transformation, elevating it to a premier destination for guests seeking a blend of modern luxury and rich cultural heritage.

Since its inception in 1981, the Sheraton Bahrain Hotel has been a cornerstone of the island's hospitality scene, serving guests for over 40 years. The recent extensive renovations have redefined its aesthetic, emphasising a clean, contemporary design while incorporating sustainable practices.

Recently, TTN had the chance to experience the hotel's makeover, which promises an unforgettable stay for both business and leisure guests.

The hotel’s strategic location is a significant asset. Positioned adjacent to Bahrain World Trade Center and the upscale Moda Mall, it is just a 15-minute drive from Bahrain International Airport. This prime setting not only provides easy access to the city’s attractions but also places guests in the centre of the action, making it the ideal base for exploring the city.

Rooms with a view

The hotel boasts 210 modern guest rooms and suites, including 141 Signature Rooms, 41 Club Rooms with exclusive access to the Sheraton Club Lounge, and 25 luxurious suites, including Junior, Executive, and three premium Diplomatic and Presidential Suites.

During our stay, we experienced one of the Junior Suites, which was spacious and offered breathtaking views of the city from multiple angles. The marble bathrooms were lavish, featuring a soaking tub and rainfall showers, while the cozy living areas provided a perfect retreat for relaxation, adorned with art installations representing different areas of Bahrain.

Culinary delights await

Food enthusiasts will find themselves in a delightful setting at the Sheraton Bahrain. The hotel offers a diverse array of dining options that cater to every palate.

Golestan Persian Grill: Here, guests can immerse themselves in the rich flavours of Persian cuisine. Signature dishes like the tender lamb fillet (Kabb Barg) and the succulent Meigoo Kabab, made with jumbo shrimp, are must-tries. The menu also features refreshing pomegranate and saffron mocktails and traditional favourites, making it a culinary treasure. For dessert, the Pistachio saffron ice cream provides a captivating finish to a delectable meal.

Guests can enjoy a lively atmosphere while watching their meals being prepared. This restaurant is perfect for families and friends looking for a buffet experience amidst a stunning vertical hydroponic garden.

Brasero Atlantico: Perched against the stunning Manama skyline, this rooftop restaurant specialises in authentic Argentine cuisine, featuring fire-grilled meats prepared using traditional wood fire techniques. The bold flavours are complemented by curated drinks, and the panoramic city views enhance the dining experience, making it a memorable outing.
