Almosafer, (part of Seera Group), is playing a key role in supporting Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to attain an annual influx of 100 million tourists by the year 2030. Standing out as the most comprehensive travel company within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Almosafer covers various travel segments.

“All our verticals are performing well – gaining market share,” Muzammil AHussain, CEO of Almosafer, tells TTN.

Almosafer oversees four principal areas of travel, including consumer travel, Almosafer Business for corporate and government-related travel, Discover Saudi as the destination management company, and Mawasim, specializing in Hajj and Umrah tours.

Almosafer provides opportunities for outbound, leisure, and religious travel, offering a range of services to both B2C and B2B customers, along with fostering partnerships with suppliers. Their approach is characterized by cutting-edge travel solutions, a strong digital presence, and a commitment to offering valuable travel advice.

“Our consumer business continues to support Saudis when they travel, whether internationally or domestically. Our business travel is steady, providing seamless travel bookings for business travellers, corporate and government – within or outside the Kingdom. Inbound businesses are growing, supporting events and religious tourism.

“We’ve had a number of long-term partnerships with various organisations and continue to provide tours around the Kingdom and work to ensure guests to have a great experience.”

Last year, Seera Group announced that Almosafer had signed an agreement with Klook Travel Technology to establish a one-stop digital platform for activities.

“We’ll also be unveiling our new brand, our joint venture with Klook, at WTM London, to showcase what we can do for inbound tourism in Saudi Arabia,” AHussain tells us. Available on Almosafer but also on Klook - and in the future on other platforms – this technology will allow travellers to seamlessly book tourism experiences in Saudi Arabia.

“We’re seeing a lot of interest in domestic travel, which continues to grow.

“Also, it is such an exciting time for cruising in the region and in Saudi Arabia in particular, with the next season starting soon.

“Of course, inbound tourism will always be a key focus in order to meet the international traveller targets. We have just signed a partnership with trip.com in China. We are working with other agents around the world and also on the religious side, with continued development in the holy sites of Saudi Arabia and increased connectivity. We’re expanding into the Haj business, having received the licence to operate the Nusuk Haj programme, we are one of 10 companies afforded this privilege. Our consumer business has started to expand outside of Saudi Arabia, we’re present in Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Oman and the rest of the GCC.”

WTM London also provides an important platform for Almosafer to expand its horizons.

“World Travel Market (WTM) London is a key event in our calendar – it gives us an opportunity across all our businesses to present Almosafer and our portfolio. From a consumer side, we meet technology companies, tourism boards; from a DMC side or from a Haj and Umrah inbound side, we meet with international agents, showcasing what we have in Saudi Arabia. At the same time, a key element of WTM is to meet with our key suppliers and partners. Our commercial team has lined up hundreds of meetings with everyone – from the global hotel chains, to the airlines to specific individual properties, luxury travel agents, other DMCs that support our guests when they visit around the world.”
