This winter Langham Hospitality Group will enter into the private residence management space with The Langham Nymphenburg Residence, located within the stately 490-acre imperial estate of Nymphenburg Palace, just a 15-minute drive from the Munich city centre.

Offering an exceptional view of the Nymphenburg Palace and the immaculately landscaped gardens, The Langham Nymphenburg Residence will feature four bedrooms, three living rooms, two wine cellars, seven bathrooms, a home cinema, an elevator and a dining room that seats 12 people comfortably. A private sun-dappled terrace with a water feature and centuries-old sculptures will set the scene for special occasions for up to 100 seated guests.

Scheduled to open this year, The Langham Nymphenburg Residence is steeped in royal Bavarian history; guests will enjoy the privacy and exclusivity of this 18th century manor with a privileged location next to the Royal Nymphenburg Porcelain Manufactory, which is renowned for exquisite avant-garde and tailor-made designs for four centuries.

Founded in 1747, the unrivalled global reputation of the Manufactory for creating completely handmade porcelain – without any automated production techniques and by using its own paste derived from centuries-old recipes – make the porcelain masterpieces it painstakingly creates to be highly revered by art connoisseurs the world over.

An extensive refurbishment programme concluded this summer will see the three-storey residence appointed with bespoke furniture pieces and accessories handcrafted by specialist brands and ateliers.
