Rotana, one of the leading hotel management companies in the region, has appointed Karim Nahas as the new complex general manager for its three properties based within the prestigious Capital Centre development in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Having served as general manager at Pearl Rotana Capital Centre since it opened in March 2018, Nahas will now also oversee operations at Centro Capital Centre and Capital Centre Arjaan by Rotana, with a combined total of 988 rooms and seven outlets within the complex.
A passionate hotelier with almost three decades of experience in the region’s hospitality sector, Nahas will leverage his expertise and deep industry knowledge to drive further growth at all three of Rotana’s Capital Centre properties.
The hotel complex, which is situated just a few meters away from Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, has emerged as a highly successful location in Abu Dhabi.
“Since the Pearl Rotana Capital Centre first opened its doors, we have developed a reputation for delivering outstanding hospitality among both business and leisure travellers. I’d like to thank all of our team members for their tireless commitment to creating unforgettable experiences for our guests,” Nahas said. “I’m delighted to take up this exciting opportunity to steer the next phase of Rotana’s development in this strategic location, and look forward to continuing on the path of success with this trio of wonderful properties,” he added.
Nahas continued: “The teams at all three hotels can be proud of their contributions, having achieved double-digit increases in revenues and outperformed our competition during the busy first quarter of the year. The clustering of the three properties will further strengthen our operational excellence and generate greater efficiencies. The remainder of the year looks very promising, with a number of events and exhibitions scheduled in the last quarter leading to a large number of confirmed groups at our hotels.”
The three Rotana properties offer a full spectrum of accommodation, with distinct options suited to all types of guests. Ideal for both business and leisure travellers, the Pearl Rotana Capital Centre features 315 luxurious rooms and suites together with five food and beverage outlets catering to every taste, including two signature restaurants. The four-star hotel boasts extensive meeting and conference facilities, as well as a rooftop swimming pool, treatment rooms, a gym and a Bodylines fitness and wellness club.
Capital Centre Arjaan by Rotana offers 259 modern fully furnished studios and apartments. With rooms ranging from classic studios to two-bedroom apartments, the hotel is designed for long-term guests and offers two dining experiences, five meeting rooms and a range of fitness and wellness facilities.
