Nahas … have dedicated floors for business guests

Towers Rotana, a leading four-star hotel located on Dubai’s prominent Sheikh Zayed Road will soon unveil its renovation and reconstruction project of all its 40 luxurious apartments. These generously proportioned apartments are available in various configurations from 53 sq m to 180 sq m including studios, one-bedroom, one-bedroom premium, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments.

The hotel boasts eight meeting rooms, a business centre and a Club Rotana Lounge positioned on the 24th floor, which is perfect for their business guests. TTN speaks to general manager Karim Nahas for insight into the business traveller.

'Appoint a number of rooms or floors of your hotel to business travellers, as we have with the dedicated Club Rotana rooms,' says Nahas. 'Extend additional benefits and privileges to those staying in the dedicated rooms through an executive lounge, such as our Club Rotana Lounge, and design it to meet the needs of business travellers offering highly personalised and efficient services.'

These services should include private and personalised check-in and check-out, welcome amenities in the room, a wake-up call service, assistance with any requests and bookings, complimentary tea, coffee, juices and soft drinks served throughout the day, evening canapés including alcoholic beverages, complimentary wi-fi access, complimentary internet access at the computer stations located in the lounge, basic secretarial assistance, and complimentary transportation service.

'Ensure you have contemporary business facilities with the latest audio-visual equipment and hi-speed internet available throughout the entire hotel,' advises Nahar. 'Accommodate their meeting requirement needs by having multiple and flexible meeting rooms. Provide a perfect blend of food and beverage outlets, a 24 hours in-room dining service and recreational facilities.'

Nahas says that he has witnessed a growing trend of mixing business and leisure and that includes their corporate partners extending their stays into the weekend, along with their families. Also, corporate group bookings (of travellers who come to Dubai for annual conferences) almost always include team building activities.

'These new trends have encouraged us to provide additional services that now include complimentary shuttle bus service to Mirdif City Centre and Kite beach and a tour desk, allowing our guests to simply book their excursions and enjoy a wide variety of attractions Dubai has to offer.

'In particular, Towers Rotana has been often recognised to many as a ‘bleisure travel’ hotel, favoured due to its location, adjacent to the Financial Centre Metro Station, a mere 4 km away from Burj Khalifa, 8 km from the golden sands of the Jumeirah Beach front and 10 km from Dubai International Airport,' concludes the general manager.
