Sparkling attraction … the 300-sq-m suite offers stunning views of the Mediterranean and Africa

THE Gran Meliá Don Pepe in Marbella, Spain, has launched the world’s first-ever Moët & Chandon suite in partnership with French luxury brand.

The first guest to stay at the exclusive penthouse suite was actress Eva Longoria, who signed one of the brand’s limited edition books, which now remains in the suite.

Located on the top floor of the hotel, the VIP suite covers an area of 300 sq m and offers “unforgettable” views of the Mediterranean and Africa.

The suite’s terrace, carefully designed with detailing in Moët & Chandon’s signature gold colour, is set to become Marbella’s best-kept secret, the hotel adds.

Guests can indulge themselves at the bar, relax on a Bali bed, rejuvenate in the Jacuzzi, or even tinkle the ivories (yes, it also has a grand piano).

Boasting exquisite handcrafted furniture, the suite also offers Gran Meliá’s prestigious Red Level Service, where guests can benefit from private check-in, butler service, letter aromas, Clarins bathroom amenities and a Nespresso coffee machine amongst others.

It also offers access to the Red Level Lounge, a private area with daily breakfast, drinks, appetisers, snacks and coffee; and a private corner with a library, television, newspapers and music.

Prices start from €2,500 ($3,113) a night with breakfast included.
