A MEMORANDUM of understanding (MoU) was signed last month between the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) and the Dubai Travel and Tour Agents Group.
The MoU is intended to ensure closer cooperation between the two parties in relation to the travel business activities within Dubai that would facilitate the development of civil aviation. Both parties intend to recognise and build on the benefits of the travel industry to the development of the civil aviation industry in Dubai, ensuring a strong and sustainable growth in the travel and tourism sector. Areas of cooperation include the support and benchmarking of policies concerning regulation of the industry to ensure best practices are followed by holders of travel trade licenses.
