SOFITEL Luxury Hotels is opening its second resort in Equatorial Guinea, on Bioko Island in Africa.

Set to the east of Malabo, a cosmopolitan capital and true tropical paradise, the Sofitel Malabo Sipopo Le Golf is designed both for business and leisure travellers.

The location features contemporary glass architecture, revealing a new facet of the country while still paying tribute to the surrounding natural environment with a spectacular golf course that stretches out toward the tropical forest and its breathtaking view of stately Mount Cameroon.

The Sofitel Malabo Sipopo Le Golf has 200 luxurious rooms, including 10 suites, each of them offering a view of the ocean or the golf course.

The lively, cosmopolitan capital of Malabo offers guests a winning combination of sun, sea, nature and culture.

Ideally located in the business district, the Sofitel Malabo Sipopo Le Golf is the perfect place for business travellers and is also close to the international conference centre, downtown and the airport.

The property offers five different dining options devoted to African and French cuisine. Le Voyageur restaurant serves the best of gourmet French dining with a top-notch beverage selection, while L’Equateur honours the local specialties

Named after Equatorial Guinea’s cocoa plantations, Le Cacaoyer reflects the spirit of Bioko Island with its sparkling lights and rainbow of cocktails. Guests can cool down with a drink at L’Horacio, the pool bar, and finally, Le 19, in the golf clubhouse, is a hub of activity for travellers to relax, chat with friends or improve their game over a delicious cocktail or two.

The Sofitel Malabo Sipopo Le Golf is a dream destination for any golfer, featuring an 18-hole course nestled into the magnificent setting of tropical forests and mangroves. The hotel is also devoted to relaxation, with a luxurious pool, a lounge on the beach and a footbridge leading to a private island.
