Saudi Arabia’s national carrier Riyadh Air has officially appointed Khimji’s Travel & Tourism, a key unit of Khimji Ramdas Group, one of the reputed business houses in Oman, as its exclusive distribution and sales partner in the sultanate.

Oman’s 3-5-star hotels saw a 9 per cent rise in guests by September 2025, totalling 1,687,112, up from 1,547,523 in 2024. Hotel revenues also increased by 18.2 per cent to about RO 193.360 million ($503 million) during the same period.

Oman is set to open 9,600 new hotel rooms between now and 2030, with 2,600 scheduled for completion by the end of 2025, says real estate advisory group and property consultant, Cavendish Maxwell. The upcoming keys will boost Oman’s existing inventory of 36,000 rooms by more than 25%, the company said.
