The Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA) has issued its first marina operator license in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) to Emaar, the Economic City (EEC), authoriSing the operation of Bay La Sun Marina.
The license was presented in the presence of SRSA Chief
Executive Officer Dr Maryam Ficociello and Acting Secretary General of the
Economic Cities and Special Zones Authority Mazen Al-Saleh.
The move aims to ensure marina operations comply with
safety, environmental protection and service quality standards, while expanding
the network of licensed tourist marinas along Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast.
Issued under the Marina Design and Operations Regulation,
the license sets requirements for managing berthing operations, providing
essential services for yachts and marine craft, and maintaining qualified
personnel, rescue equipment and emergency plans.
Bay La Sun Marina accommodates 57 recreational boats and features
a yacht club offering facilities and services for marine and leisure
activities, supporting the experience of visitors, boat owners and yacht
