Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa has unveiled ŪRJĀ Naturopathy Island, a new wellness destination combining naturopathic principles with scientific expertise to offer guests personalized approaches to restoration and wellbeing.
Named after the Sanskrit word for vitality, ŪRJĀ focuses on
long-term health rather than short-term relaxation, bringing together
nutrition, movement, detoxification, therapeutic treatments and mindfulness.
Each guest journey begins with a naturopathic consultation,
with optional diagnostics including micronutrient scans, iris diagnosis and
postural mapping.
The island features four core wellness pathways — Rest &
Rebalance, Cleanse, Nourish and Reconnect — alongside treatments including mud
therapy, heliotherapy, sound healing, acupuncture, yoga therapy and full-body
alignment rituals. Specialized programs address areas such as sleep, liver
health and joint care.
Accessible by traditional Maldivian dhoni, the destination
includes over-water treatment suites and open-air experiences designed to
connect guests with nature and the surrounding ocean. -TTN
