Saudi lifts travel ban to India, Turkey, Vietnam, Ethiopia

Saudi Arabia has lifted the Covid-related travel curbs on its citizens travelling to Turkey, India, Ethiopia and Vietnam, said a report. The Ministry of Interior had implemented travel ban on 16 countries last month following the re-outbreak of Covid-19.

Saudi Arabia has lifted the coronavirus travel restrictions on its citizens travelling to Turkey, India, Ethiopia and Vietnam, state news agency SPA reported. 
 
The kingdom's Ministry of Interior had implemented the travel ban on 16 countries last month following  the re-outbreak of Covid-19 and the rapid surge in the number of daily cases.
 
A Saudi Ministry of Interior official, while confirming the lifting of the travel ban on these four countries, said the decision was taken based on the follow-up to the epidemiological situation of the Coronavirus pandemic, and what has been submitted by health authorities regarding the global epidemiological situation.
 
Earlier this month, the kingdom lifted measures imposed to prevent the spread of the virus, including a requirement to wears face masks indoors.
