Abu Dhabi Grand Prix offers Family Fun Pass

The Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2021 has introduced the Family Fun Pass giving up to four children under 12 free entry alongside two adults with a Friday or 3-day ticket to Yas Marina Circuit and the Yas Island theme parks on December 10.

The announcement comes after updated government regulations means the 13th edition of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix returns to full capacity, allowing more spectators the opportunity to take in the exhilarating action across race week.

On Friday of race week, families will have the opportunity to watch drivers perfect the new circuit and beat their lap times ahead of the race on Sunday in a family-friendly atmosphere at the top of the famous Abu Dhabi Hill with thrilling views of the Circuit’s longest straight and Turn 2 to 6. Adult Family Fun Pass ticketholders will also have access to Friday’s Yasalam After-Race Concert, featuring an AAA international artist.

For those families looking for extra thrills, on Friday they can also take advantage of free access for kids to Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi. And if one day of theme park action isn’t enough, families or thrill seekers can upgrade to a Super Parks Pass, an incredible deal that offers unlimited five-day access to the three theme parks from Thursday 9th to Monday 13th of December.

Family Fun Pass ticketholders will also have access to Thursday’s Track Walk along the entire circuit, providing iconic, memorable views and photo opportunities to treasure the family memories.

The race action at this year’s event will showcase motorsport’s biggest stars, including Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Valterri Bottas, and Lando Norris, take on the newly reconfigured track for the first time. Modifications have been made to set up more dramatic racing and increased opportunities for overtaking, offering fans an enhanced overall spectacle. With the potential championship decider between Mercedes’ Hamilton and Red Bull’s Verstappen at this season’s final race, racing enthusiasts are sure to see history in the making at this year’s milestone event.

Combining top-level motorsport and world-class entertainment, families and event goers can look forward to four incredible Yasalam After-Race Concerts produced by Flash Entertainment Thursday-Sunday of event week. Grammy nominated artists, Khalid and Lewis Capaldi are the first to be announced in a star-studded line-up of four AAA artists, performing at Etihad Park on Thursday and Saturday respectively.

In line with the increased capacity, fans can experience the full weekend at Yas Marina Circuit with multiple categories for ticket purchases and hospitality packages to gain access to a star-studded entertainment line-up.

All ticketholders will have access to the Thursday concert, headlined by Khalid, in addition, single-day ticketholders will also have access to the day they have an Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket for, two-day ticketholders will have access to the Saturday and Sunday concerts as well as the Thursday, and those with three-day tickets will be able to access all nights of After-Race entertainment.

A Yasalam After-Race concert ticket must be first activated by entering Yas Marina Circuit for the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on the day you’re attending the concert.  

A selection of precautionary measures will remain in place, including temperature checking, venue sanitization and social distancing, while there will be a first aid and Covid-19 testing point on site, which will include a dedicated quarantine room for suspected cases. In accordance with government regulations, Masks are to be worn at all times and all in attendance will be required to present a Green Pass through the Al Hosn app and a negative PCR test within 96-hours to enter the venue. – TradeArabia News Service
