UN Tourism expands its Affiliate Members network

UN Tourism has formally announced 22 new Affiliate Members. The new members combine a wide range of profiles with diverse backgrounds and types of business: 2 Destination Management Organisations, 7 for-profit company, 6 associations and NGOs, 3 universities, and 4 others.

In terms of geographical distribution, the newly admitted members come the following regions: 3 from the Americas, 4 from Asia and the Pacific, 9 from Europe, and 6 from the Middle East, from 14 different countries.  

UN Tourism Secretary-General Zurab Pololikashvili says: “As we celebrate 50 years of UN Tourism, our growing Affiliate Members network—now counting over 500 entities across 80 countries—continues to lead with innovation, expertise, and shared purpose. Together, UN Tourism and its Affiliate Members are shaping a more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient sector, delivering tangible impact through cooperation, knowledge, and action for destinations and communities worldwide,”  

The new Affiliate Members are:

  7. Consorzio per la Promozione Turistica della Valchiavenna
  8. Dentsu
  9. Emirates Council for Balanced Development
  10. Fédération des Associations des Capitales et Villes Mondiales du Sport (ACES)
  11. Findspo
  12. Gid Global Media Production
  13. Jiangsu Changyou Cloud Education Technology
  14. KPRN Network
  15. Pangaea Adventure Club 
  16. Qazaq National Parks
  17. Romexpo
