Al Madinah Region Development Authority oversaw the signing of eight cooperation agreements to advance tourism and cultural destinations across the region, as part of its participation in the Saudi Land 2025 pavilion.
The agreements aim to bolster Madinah’s standing as a destination that blends heritage and innovation by launching targeted initiatives to enrich visitor experiences and attract investment in heritage- and community-focused projects, reported SPA.
They provide for global marketing of QSAS experiences and inclusion of the QSAS museum platform in Umrah Plus travel packages; adding Al-Hayy and Jabal Ayr to the City Sightseeing hop-on hop-off bus route; enhancing cultural programming through Round KSA; developing joint experiences between QSAS and Al-Hayy; launching tourism and cultural adventures at Jabal Ayr; and expanding QSAS participation in international exhibitions and conferences
The authority said the agreements form part of its drive to expand public-private partnerships, support the local economy, and advance destination development in Madinah and across the Kingdom.
