UAE airports serve 1.4m passengers from March 1 to 12, airline ops reach 44.6%

More than 1.4 million passengers used UAE airports between March 1–12, according to the UAE GCAA. National carriers are restoring operations, reaching 44.6% of overall activity compared with operational levels before the current regional tensions.

King Salman International Airport (KSIA), a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) to cooperate in the promotion of domestic tourism, develop air connectivity, and enhance the traveller and visitor experience.
