Tourist arrivals to Mauritius from the Middle East increased by approximately 10.5% between January and July 2026 compared with the same period in 2025, as the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) prepares to target further growth across the GCC at Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2026.
Emirates to introduce Premium Economy on two Mauritius-Dubai flights

Emirates will introduce its Premium Economy cabin on two of its three daily Mauritius-Dubai flights from September 1, 2026, giving travellers greater comfort and choice. The service will be available on A380-operated flights EK703/704 and retrofitted Boeing 777 flights EK709/710.
