flyadeal, Saudia Group’s fast-growing low-cost carrier and one of the largest low-cost airlines in the GCC, has launched three weekly non-stop flights in each direction between Jeddah and Lucknow in India’s Uttar Pradesh state.

Lucknow is the airline’s third scheduled destination in India, following Hyderabad and Mumbai.

The new service, which commenced on November 4, strengthens flyadeal’s presence in the Indian market, offering greater convenience for passengers travelling between Saudi Arabia and India for business, leisure or to visit family and friends.

The addition of Lucknow to flyadeal’s growing network reflects the airline’s continued expansion in India, an important market supported by strong travel demand and close ties between the two countries.

flyadeal now operates three non-stop flights a week in each direction between Jeddah and Lucknow, using its 186-seat Airbus A320neo aircraft. The service runs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays, offering more than 4,400 seats across both directions and giving travellers more choice when flying between Saudi Arabia and India.

The new flights from Jeddah arrive in Lucknow early in the morning, giving travellers a full day for business meetings, family visits or onward travel. Return flights arrive in Jeddah in the early afternoon, leaving passengers time to continue their journeys or spend the rest of the day with family.

“India is an important and growing market for flyadeal, and the launch of our new Jeddah–Lucknow service marks another step in expanding our presence in the country. By introducing direct flights between the two cities, we are providing passengers with greater choice and convenience, whether travelling for business, leisure or to visit family and friends. We look forward to welcoming passengers on board as we continue to strengthen our diverse connections between Saudi Arabia and India,” said Lloyd Misquitta, Acting Chief Commercial Officer at flyadeal
