RAK Properties is expanding Mina’s dining and lifestyle offering in Ras Al Khaimah with the addition of tashas, Hunter & Barrel and Antonia, further strengthening the waterfront destination’s position as a growing hospitality and culinary hub.
The three restaurant
concepts will join Mina’s expanding collection of food and beverage (F&B)
brands, catering to residents, visitors and homeowners while supporting the
developer’s broader strategy to create an integrated, community-focused
destination.
The latest additions
follow the openings of Bar Du Port Beach and Ladurée earlier in 2026, bringing
Mediterranean-inspired dining and French patisserie to the waterfront
community. RAK Properties said Mina’s growing residential base and visitor
numbers continue to attract established hospitality concepts.
Premium café concept
tashas, founded by Natasha Sideris, is scheduled to open its first Ras Al
Khaimah location at Mina in the fourth quarter of 2026. The beachfront venue
will feature the brand’s signature relaxed interiors and freshly prepared
dishes, alongside a Mediterranean Inspired By menu developed specifically for
the location. The concept is designed around casual coastal dining, from long
lunches to sunset meals by the sea.
Australian-born
steakhouse Hunter & Barrel is also expected to open at Mina in the fourth
quarter. The restaurant will offer a premium selection of steaks and seafood in
an environment inspired by Ras Al Khaimah’s natural landscape and historic
Dhayah Fort. Its interiors will feature warm terracotta tones and natural
materials, creating an earthy setting suited to communal dining.
Homegrown Italian
restaurant Antonia will complete the trio, opening at Mina in December.
Established in Abu Dhabi in 2021, the brand has since expanded across Abu Dhabi
and Dubai, with Mina becoming its sixth location.
Inspired by Chef
Simone Federici’s grandmother, Nonna Antonia, the restaurant serves Roman-style
cuisine, including pizza al taglio, generously portioned pasta dishes,
antipasti and hearty mains designed for sharing.
Sameh Muhtadi, Chief
Executive Officer of RAK Properties, said: “At RAK Properties, our vision for
Mina extends beyond building prime homes and new hospitality hubs; we are
committed to creating a fully integrated, vibrant, and highly liveable
destination. Somewhere our residents and their families love to live, and
visitors can’t wait to discover. Our growing collection of premium F&B
brands underscores both Mina and Ras Al Khaimah’s growing appeal to homebuyers,
investors, and foodies alike. Before inviting restaurant and cafe concepts to
be part of Mina’s ecosystem, we specifically look for options that can add
value to the social infrastructure of our communities, and that help to deepen
our Emirate's growing status as a great place to live, visit, and dine.”
Beyond its independent
restaurants, Mina’s two established resorts provide additional dining options
for residents and visitors.
The 351-key
InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Resort and Spa on Hayat Island features
Saffar, an all-day dining restaurant; Levant & Nar, serving Turkish and
Lebanese cuisine; and NoHo Bar & Grill, which offers American-Italian
fusion dishes.
Nearby, the 174-key
Anantara Mina Hotel & Resort, Ras Al Khaimah offers Asian cuisine at
Mekong, international dining at Sea Breeze and Mediterranean-style food at
Beach House.
The expansion reflects RAK Properties’ wider placemaking strategy, which focuses on developing Mina beyond a residential destination through hospitality, retail and social infrastructure. By broadening its culinary offering, the developer aims to support community life while enhancing Mina’s appeal to residents, investors and visitors exploring Ras Al Khaimah. -TradeArabia News Service
