Emirates has opened a new travel store in Manama, Bahrain, strengthening its presence in the Kingdom and expanding its customer service offerings after 26 years of operations in the market.
Located at Seef Boulevard, the 215-square-metre Emirates
Travel Store officially opened on 19 October, with the ceremony attended by
senior government officials, aviation representatives, business partners and
media representatives.
The opening was led by Khalid Bel Jaflah, Emirates’
Divisional Vice President for Commercial Operations, Middle East and North
Africa, alongside Bahrain officials and Reema Al Marzooqi, the airline’s
country manager.
The new facility is designed to provide customers with a
more personalised and interactive booking experience.
Visitors can consult travel specialists for flight
reservations, itinerary planning and tailored travel recommendations, as well
as book holiday packages through Emirates Holidays.
The store features contemporary interiors incorporating the
airline’s Ghaf Tree motif, ambient lighting and neutral tones.
A displayed Boeing 777 Business Class seat offers visitors
an opportunity to experience part of Emirates’ premium cabin offering, while an
interactive selfie mirror adds another customer engagement feature.
A new queue management system has also been introduced to
streamline service delivery.
The store is located in Unit 15 on the ground floor of Seef
Boulevard and operates seven days a week, from 8am to 6pm.
Bel Jaflah commented: “Bahrain holds an important place in
the Emirates network, and we have been part of the Kingdom’s communities and
skies for more than 26 years. The opening of our new travel store in Manama
reflects our continued investment in the Bahraini market and our commitment to
transforming the customer experience through more innovative solutions, helping
deliver on our ‘Fly Better’ promise right at the point of booking.” -TradeArabia News Service
